Rowing
ThyssenKrupp has worked to promote the Olympic sport of rowing for many years. A new project is the "up2" program developed in association with the German Rowing Association. The aim is to provide support for top young athletes during their education and training, in their search for a suitable career and when starting working life. Information events and careers advice are part of the package on offer. Regional mentors will be on hand to advise and support the athletes once they start their vocational training and there are also plans to set up partnerships.
