The Lead Buyer concept

The lead buyer concept is one of the central success factors for the cross-company coordination of purchasing activities.

We are systematically realizing synergies and cost reduction potential through the pooling of required quantities and knowledge. The Group’s lead buyer for the relevant sourcing category represents the cross-segment interests of all subsidiaries through the conclusion of Group framework agreements. Our motto is: "One for all - all for one aim".

Lead buyer concept

Cross-segment teams are formed for each sourcing category (e.g. "Electronic components"). In dealings with business partners, the interests of each team are represented by the respective lead buyer, who is generally the representative of the Group company with the highest individual requirements.
